Four men robbed a church at Govan Mbeki Street in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape. The four men found a 26-year-old man in the prayer room as they were looking for the pastor at the church. One of the men wanted the pastor to pray for him as he was awaiting a pending court case against him.
Alwin Labans, a police spokesperson, says the men found the 26-year-old man in the prayer room on Tuesday. Two of the men took out their knives and took the 26-year-old man’s cell phone. The 26-year-old was then sent to the kitchen whilst the other two men went on searching around the church.
The four men got out of the church with a sound system, cell phones, a sound system, money and a laptop. The police are currently searching for the four men in accordance with the business robbery case that has been opened by the church.
