Bloemfontein Public Order Police Reaction Team arrested the 37-year-old suspect for possession and dealing in drugs in Exton Road Hilton earlier today, Monday 2 May 2022. The police received information from the community member about the drug post in the area and immediately followed it up.
The team arrived at the identified adress and approached the described African male to ask him for permission to search the premises. The search started after consent was granted and seven (7) large plastics containing Chrystal Meth and another small one also with Chrystal Meth inside were found. The 37-year-old African male was then arrested for possession and dealing in drugs.
A case docket was opened at Navalsig Police Station. The seized drugs and cash believed to be the proceeds of sale were booked in Evidence Management System. The suspect will appear in Bloemfontein Magistrate Court on Wednesday 4 May 2022.
