Three suspects aged between 17 and 22 are expected to appear before Khutsong Magistrates Court on Friday, 17 July 2020, for allegedly raping three teenage girls.
The alleged rape took place at Khutsong South on Sunday, 12 July 2020 and the suspects were arrested within four days.
Three girls aged between 14 and 16 went to visit one of the suspects at his home in Extension Four, Khutsong. The suspect went and came back with four of his friends whom it is reported that they all belong to a gang called “Ghetto Trouble Boys”.
It is alleged that three suspects threatened the girls with knifes and forcefully took them to the bedrooms where they raped them repeatedly.
The matter was reported to the police and the three suspects were hunted down and arrested.
