Gauteng Police making inroads in the recovery of firearms suspected to be used in the commission of serious and violent crime

The mission to recover weapons used in the commission of serious and violent crime proves to be a success a police continue to confiscate illegal firearms, this time a significant number of high calibre firearms and ammunition.
Police received information about a suspect that is keeping unlicensed firearms and ammunition. A 37-year-old suspect was arrested and charged with possession of unlicensed firearms and ammunition. He is expected to appear before the Boksburg Magistrate’s Court soon.
