A 27-year-old man was arrested on Sunday, 27 March 2022 by members of SAPS Magaliesburg for possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition.
According to a preliminary report the SAPS members were out on a routine patrol along the R24 Rustenburg Road in Magaliesburg when they detected a suspicious looking vehicle.
The SAPS members intercepted the vehicle and conducted a search which led them to recover an unlicensed firearm with ammunition. One suspect was subsequently arrested.
Station Commander of SAPS Magaliesburg, Lieutenant Colonel Mawewe Vuwa thanked the members for their continued vigilance and dedication.
