With under a week left before they could get they could tie the knot, a couple was left hurt after they had to stop their union from happening. This was after the mother of the bride and father of the groom could not be found. The ‘Independent’ reports that the two, from India, were planning to be husband and wife for over a year.
The wedding was meant to be celebrated on February. The mother of the bride, 46, and the father of the groom, 48, went missing 11 days before the couple could get married. The ‘New York Post’ says family members had them reported as missing persons but it is also alleged that they sparked their romance from when they were young and thus slipped away to get married.
‘Times India’ reports that the mother and father were apparently good friends and neighbours when they were young. “They knew each other since they lived in [the] same society. Some of their close friends informed us after they eloped that they had a relationship in the past too,” says a member of the families. However, the woman got engaged at time with her recent husband, according to the family member. The woman got married to a broker.
