Helen Zille is hell bent on defending the legacy of Colonialism, clearly she is not turning back drawing from her recent tweets which mirror her previous tweets which got her in hot soup in the previous year. Whilst engaging with a user on twitter, Helen tweeted ‘It must be a relief that you weren’t burdened by the legacy of colonial water pipping system’ .
Whats particularly concerning is not the merit of these posts but the insensitivity to a whole population that was oppressed and displaced by colonial masters.
