The former Western Cape Premiere for the Democratic Alliance, Helen Zille, is always attacked by the people of Twitter for her tweets. The beef between her and the people on Twitter is because of her thoughts on race and the current South Africa. This time she has the people of the Twitter streets on two paths with her non-racial ideology tweet.
The former Western Cape Premiere says, “I have a non-racial ideology.” The tweet she sent is different from all her race tweets. However, it didn’t receive support from all the people on the Twitter streets. The tweet came after her tea with the former Public Protector, Thuli Madonsela, after they had a mini argument about her black privilege vs white privilege post.
Some of the tweeps don’t acknowledge her what she said, some of them even called her a racist. One tweep says, “If you start a sentence with “I have a non racial… there is a 99.99999% chance that you are.” One tweep says, “U (you) should go visit one of the alcohol rehab centres in Cape Town, surely this (these) wines that u (you) are drinking are being misdirected in your system and affecting your thinking capacity.” One tweep says, “U (you) forget some of us can see through your blue eyes huh.”
Some of the other tweeps are standing with Helen, they even told the other people that they are misquoting what she says. One tweep says, All these negative comments. Like a pack of wolves you just wait for a tweet from Helen so that you can pounce. I think you all secretly adore Auntie Helen. Just admit it.” One tweep says, “Some of these replies prove that South Africans are highly susceptible to social engineering.” One tweep says, That was nevr (never) in doubt but unfortunately through your tweets of late, you planted seeds of doubt in many.”
