Zahara has been on news headlines this year because of her fight with former record label, of TS Records. The singer and DJ Sbu have been fighting over the alleged royalties that are owed to her. Zahara accused TS Records of paying her less than what was due to her in her royalties, record sales and her performances.The company issued a cease-and-desist letter towards Zahara, resisting her from making any “defamatory comments” against the company.
Zahara said that she’ll be taking the company to court over the money owed to her. Today (Thursday) it was announced that Nhlanhla Nciza and fellow TS Records owner TK Nciza have called it quits to their 15 year marriage. Tweeps seem to be here for it, with some saying that Zahara’s ancestors are blessing her. One tweep says, “I’d like to play “Ancestors stokvel” with Zahara, they coming through for her these days Wow!” One tweep says, “Zahara’s ancestors making it rain.”

If they had payed her they would still be happy together.” One tweep says, “Maybe Nhlanhla doesn’t want to be associated with people who treat their artists like TK and Sbu treated Zahara.” The singer has recently signed a concert residency deal with the Emperors Palace.
