According to Clark an Sears, her website, Katherine Sears works in Iowa, a place where the occupation of sex work is seen as a felony. The Daily Mail reports that she starts her mornings with three hours of conditioning and pampering, on a busy day she can receive about 10 to 15 clients. She works at Nevada, a place where sex work is not illegal. The lawyer has committed her legal knowledge to fight for the legal status of sex work in the United States of America.
The woman also gives free services to workers who need her expertise. Katherine Sears people should have the conversation of sex work. “I think the more we talk about it the better our chances of getting the decriminalisation that we are pursuing. We’re not going to have legislative change if we’re passive about it,” says the lawyer to KCCI. She went on to say that women are looked down upon because of their sexuality. “We degrade women who are open about sexuality. You’re supposed to be this way and if you’re not this way you’re bad, and if you stray from that you’re also bad, so I think it’s a lot of indoctrination,” says Katherine Sears.
