Ntsiki Mazwai went on to Twitter to supposedly compare Bonang Matheba with Zodwa Wabantu on Thursday. The presenter of Moja Love’s ‘Show Me Love’ went on to say that Bonang would not be having the same effect if she did not have the Woolworths deal. She thus said that Zodwa Wabantu is a bigger force than Bonang.
“It’s gonna hurt you when I tell you that Zodwa is a bigger force than Bonang because when you take Woolworths away from Bonang what do you have?? No deal you can take away from Zodwa. She will continue,” says Ntsiki Mazwa. Zodwa Wabantu told TshisaLive about how happy she was to be compared to ‘Queen B’ but then she felt as if her name was used to fire at Bonang. She thus said that as woman they should not be compared to each other.
“We shouldn’t be compared to each other. It is not about Bonang or me. We don’t have to fight in the industry, it doesn’t help us grow. She is using me to fight her battles. It feels like we are just puppets to her. Why should we be compared? Why should we fight? We all have our own s**t that we are going through. Our own battles to get into the industry. We should be supporting each other as women,” Says Zodwa Wabantu. Ntsiki Mazwai stated on Radio2000 with Phat Joe that the debate of white-capital-backing was more than Bonang Matheba.
