Khoisan Chief Becomes The President Of His People. He says political parties gave people a lot of false promises.
Chief Khoisan SA has been sworn in as the president and king of the Khoisan people. Chief Khoisan SA was sworn in at the Union Buildings grounds in Pretoria by Bishop Victor Gelderbloem, the Khoisan spiritual leader. Chief Khoisan SA vowed not to participate in the elections.
He says political parties gave people a lot of false promises. According to the Daily Sun, the Khoisan people will work with any race and will not remove anyone from the country. Chief Khoisan SA says the Khoisan is now a sovereignty that is peaceful.
“I want to steer the process towards first-nation recognition and rights, and I will also talk about the land issue.” The bishop says this was an iconic event of the first indigenous Southern African state. Bishop Victor Gelderbloem says they swore in the King on the election day “because President Cyril Ramaphosa didn’t know 8 May is the sign of a new beginning for the Khoisan.”
The bishop did some spiritual rituals that would help the new president and king of the Khoisan people stay secured. Gelderbloem says they protected him from evil spirits and from the oppositions. The government put the Khoisan people into consideration after they insisted on speaking to President Ramaphosa on the 30th of November, last year.
