On Tuesday 17 May 2022, the Hawks members from the Durban Serious Organised Crime Investigation arrested a 23-year-old suspect for #kidnapping which happened at Sterkspruit in the Eastern Cape Province on Sunday, 15 May 2022.
It is alleged that a 30-year-old female was kidnapped by unknown suspects who allegedly demanded cash from the family of the victim.
The victim was rescued and the suspect is expected to appear in the Sterkspruit Magistrate’s Court.
