Last week when schools opened a photo of a little girl that was wearing an oversized uniform made rounds on the internet. The picture had people howling, with some quoting what old school black parents would say when they buy children clothes. However, one good man by the name of Gavin Khungwayo assisted the little girl.
The man managed to get a hold of the little girl and went to where she situates. Gauteng Survivors was the one that spoke about the man’s good deeds. The man went to the girl and bought her a brand new uniform. The man inspired a lot people with his good deed. Black Twitter commended the man for his good deed. One tweep says, “This kid will remember this for the rest of her life.” One tweep says, “Man! This is the kind of man I hope to be one day…”
“I’m humbled by Gavin’s humanity. He did great by restoring the dignity of the girl child…how did we arrive to the point where we ridicule our own for [being] less fortunate. Whoever took the pic and post it on social media must be named and shamed,” says one tweep. One tweep says, “…this warms my heart. This young girl will grow to be a better person because she has received kindness and love.” One became emotional because of the man’s good deed. The tweep says, “This really [me] cry. I couldn’t hold my tears…Gavin Khalima is a KING! A HERO!!!”
