Yesterday at 17:00, the police officers from Emanguzi SAPS were conducting patrols at Ekuthukuzeni and Emanguzi areas when they spotted a vehicle.
The said vehicle was stopped and it was established that the vehicle was stolen in Hillcrest during March 2020. Two suspects aged 27 and 44 were placed under arrest for being in possession of a stolen vehicle. They appeared before the KwaNgwanase Magistrates Court and were remanded in custody until next week for a formal bail application.
The KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Commissioner, Lieutenant General Khombinkosi Jula commended the police officers for the arrest of the suspects.
