Man Accidentally Spends R1000 On Airtime. Have you ever felt the pain of losing your money all because of a mistake?
Have you ever felt the pain of losing your money all because of a mistake? One Twitter user knows this feeling because he typed one too many zeros while internet banking. The Twitter user expressed the pain he felt after losing a large sum of money in his bank account, he also took a screenshot of the transfer that he made. The man lost his money while he was buying himself airtime.
“…You can’t imagine the pain I’m feeling now…Painful mistake,” says the Twitter user. Tweeps went on to react to the Twitter user’s painful blunder. One tweep went on to speak about how she also supposedly lost R2029 while she was trying to type the number 2029 as the date. The tweep says, “I wanted to put some funds in savings Fnb, I clicked 2029 on date and the money disappeared. Only saw the money debited after 2 months. I’m even a resident. And no one will call [you] to check if all is well.”
One tweep says that it also happened to her as he was trying to buy with R100. The tweep says, “Sorry bro I know this very well it happened to me recently trying to purchase R100.” One tweep says she created a separate account so that she could avoid these types of situations. The tweep says, “I have created a separate account for airtime and electricity to avoid such…” Some of the other tweeps told the man to reverse the money.
