Man Allegedly Kills Man For Speaking To His Girlfriend In Eastern Cape. A man from the Eastern Cape was apprehended for allegedly stabbing another man to death.
A man from the Eastern Cape was apprehended for allegedly stabbing another man to death. The man was reportedly jealous because the man he allegedly stabbed was seen speaking to his girlfriend. Captain Jackson Manatha, the police spokesperson, says the Flagstaff officials apprehended the man for allegedly killing the 35-year-old.
The police spokesperson says, “It is alleged that the suspect saw the 35-year-old man standing with his girlfriend on Wednesday at about 20:30 at Nqabeni Locality, Hewu village, Flagstaff.” The police spokesperson says the 24-year-old man took out his knife and then allegedly stabbed the man on the upper part of his body. The man passed away at the scene of the incident. The Flagstaff police station opened a file for murder.
They looked for the man and then apprehended him, according to police spokesperson Captain Jackson Manatha. The 24-year-old is set to be in court on Friday. “The suspect has been formally charged with murder, [He] will appear in court on Friday on a murder charge. The identity of the deceased is still being withheld until all his relatives are officially informed of his murder,” says Captain Jackson Manatha.
