The 36-year-old man from Masimong-Tseki Village in Qwaqwa was arrested by Phuthaditjhaba Tactical Response Team after he was found in possession of a suspected stolen SUV vehicle.
On the 20 May 2021 at about 17:30, Phuthaditjhaba TRT received information about a vehicle allegedly stolen in Sebokeng, Vereeniging. The said vehicle was spotted driving around Qwaqwa. The team responded and found the vehicle near Turfontein, in Thabang Village with one suspect.
The white SUV Kia Seltos was seized and the suspect arrested.
He is expected to appear before Tseseng Magistrate court on Monday, 24 May 2021 facing charges of possession of suspected stolen property.
