A man has been charged with committing an indecent act after he was caught touching himself inappropriately in front of a woman while holding a cucumber in his other hand.
A man was caught touching himself inappropriately at a public library while holding a cucumber.
Frederick Tennyson Davis was arrested and charged with committing an indecent act and two counts of failing to comply with probation after he approached a woman, who was studying at the time, and began touching himself with one hand while holding the vegetable in the other.
Police constable David Hopkinson said: “He was not using the cucumber [to masturbate] as far as I’m aware. It was held in his other hand.”
When asked if Mr. Davis had threatened any of the library staff, Hopkinson added: “I don’t think he had any free hands to make a threat.”
