A video recording of a man proposing to his wife at the KFC in Vaal has been making rounds on social media. The man could be seen on his one knee and putting the rings on the woman. There were a number of other customers chanting for them. KFC is now looking for the wonderful couple that got engaged. Pick n Pay also came in to support KFC in looking for the happy couple.
However, people were divided over the man proposing to the woman at KFC. Some of the tweeps felt as if the place was not a suitable place for proposing. One tweep says, “Who the f**k proposes at KFC though? Ai this guy has no timing…” One tweep laughed out saying, “Someone’s proposed at KFC…” Some tweeps were happy for the couple. One tweep says, “True love is found at KFC…I love this!” One tweep says, “I’m honestly convinced that good partners are found at KFC…”
Some of the tweeps didn’t like the fact that some of the tweeps were finding the proposal funny. “Everyone that’s laughing at #KFCProposal. What if they from [a place] where there’s no KFC and [KFC] is where they go at least once a month? You know what you afford, you know your limits.” One tweep says, “…this is really beautiful. Stay in your lane, do what is best for you and [you] will never go wrong. Those who are laughing at this [are] just bitter individuals. The best moment in life are free. The brother has done well.”
