Matriculant Recalls How Breaking Up with A Religious Schoolmate Went Totally Wrong. Dating is quite a daunting but great experience for some people in High School.
Dating is quite a daunting but great experience for some people in High School. Some people are totally into each other, with some hoping to be ‘together forever’ because of the trust they have in each other. However, for some the dating could go horribly wrong, such as this one matric Twitter user.
The Twitter user started by telling people to not date people in the same class as them. The two have been friends since Grade 11 in 2018. They are also the top learners, she has been on the number 1 spot since Grade 8. He says this year the situation has changed. “Girl tells me she wants us to start studying together and do this matric thing together right? Okay cool she just wants us to study it’s fine. So we become study partners…But I have a feeling there’s more to this. But oh well let’s study.” He went on to say that when the second term came along, the girl told him how she felt about him; however, they broke up in 2 months later. He mentions that the girl is a religious person.
“So the first term passes by and hey for the first time I become the top learner and I sense that this doesn’t sit well with our girl maybe I’m just overthinking. By the beginning of the second term the girl confesses her undying love for me. By the beginning of the second term the girl confesses her undying love for me. Oh and I forgot to mention our girl is a very religious/spiritual person…So I decide to try things out with her and we start dating…We dated for like 2 months and then I just couldn’t. We were just so different and girl had way too much pride she couldn’t let go of.”
After the break up something unexpected happens to the boy after he broke up with the girl. “Unfortunately girl was just too invested in me and she had a hard time letting go. I feel very guilty for breaking her heart. So I’ve been taking top learner awards all year every term this year. But what I didn’t know until recently is that…After we broke up girl went to see her Spiritual mother and this is what the spiritual mother had to say to her. Apparently it’s been said that my whole plan for this year was to get into the girl’s mind spiritually and steal her intelligence…”
He goes on to say that the girl hasn’t declined in terms of her performance at school. “…this girl didn’t even fall academically she’s till performing at the rate she was performing at last ear, a little improvement there and there. But then I improved more. It’s been said that me and my friends are in a cult for the devel and we wanted to bring her down. Now girl and her friends call us around 2 am in the morning and when I answer all I hear is “hosi-shabarabara”…Praying in tongues?…we were being prayed for. Or maybe we were being prayed to fall idk. Girl and her friends tell me I will never win. After that I’m being told that the time is coming they hope I’ll be fine. “But the time is coming and we’re scared for you”…Oh and around September I received a message from her friend which read “Since I’ve been saved you will never get the others…”…,” says the Matriculant Twitter user.
