The widow of a murdered KwaZulu-Natal police official has been apprehended. The woman of the stabbed police official was apprehended in link to his murder. The woman was at the Port Shepstone Magistrate’s Court o Wednesday.
Her case was postponed to the following week, according to Captain Simphiwe Mhlongo, the police spokesperson. Captain Simphiwe Mhlongo says the murdered police officer, Thulani Ngwabe, was appointed at the Margate Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual offences Unit. He was discovered with several stab wounds at the railway lines close to Port Shepstone Beach on the 3rd of November.
Further examination led to his wife, Nonkululeko Ngwabe, being incriminated in link to the murder. “The Hawks’ Serious Organised Crime Investigation team was handed the case docket for further investigation which led to the arrest of the deceased’s wife, Nonkululeko, on Tuesday,” says Captain Simphiwe Mhlongo. The police spokesperson says more people will might still be apprehended for the police official’s murder.
