Some people get hurt when they are not followed by some of the people they know or follow on social media. Some of them feel as if the people that don’t follow them probably don’t mess with them. However, Anga Makubalo, commonly known as NaakMusiQ, clarified that him not following some of the people he knows doesn’t reflect how he feels about them.
The musician and actor says that if he wants see how a person is doing, he will just search for them. “Me not following you on social media IS NOT a reflection of how I feel about you. I don’t get why people catch feelings if you don’t follow them. If I want tosee how you’re doing I’ll just search for your name and find you,” says NaakMusiQ. Some of his followers agreed with his statement. One tweep says this generation is more concerned about life on the internet.
The tweep says, “Sadly our generation lives this virtual fabricated life, people don’t have real happiness…it’s only about follow backs and amount of likes that builds their characters.” One tweep says, “That’s true, like I never followed you but I met this tweet somehow people must relax.” One tweep says, “If I follow you, in most cases I follow your content/news, because I am interested in what you do or post it doesn’t mean you have to be interested in my content too.” Some tweeps unfollowed him on his Twitter account.
