The food franchise managed to inform people about hygiene on Wednesday by doing what the company does, throwing a bit of shade.
The company threw a bit of shade at competitor and chicken franchise, KFC. Nandos used the company’s slogan after a tweep asked people which chicken they’d prefer between KFC and Nandos. “Turns out finger licking isn’t good,” says Nandos on Twitter. Black Twitter reacted to the shade that was given to the KFC. One tweep says, “This tweet Rock’s-My-Timeline!” One tweep says, “Y’all are just savage, you got no single ounce of peace-nothing…”
One tweep says, “The nugget academy won’t see this shot coming…” One tweep says, “It was nuggets now this…” One tweep wanted KFC to him. The tweep says, “…just hire me to run your twitter account the person running is useless. [You] getting murdered…” One tweep says, “Nando’s and bullying other chickens.” In the post asking people to choose one between Nandos chicken and KFC, the chicken franchise said: “Point of order…We can’t recognise this comrade until they tell us what part of the chicken is the nugget? We need to know.”
