Nasty C Opens Up About His Relationship With His Best Friend. Nasty C has been in the music industry for some time.
Nasty C has been in the music industry for some time. In these few years, the artist has reached a lot of achievements. His success is also because of his friends, one of these friends is his photographer, Teddy. Recently, the artist posted a picture of him and Teddy then in Durban and now in Tokyo.
Nasty and Teddy have been friends since the hip hop artist started his music career. Teddy has been his photographer, travelling everywhere with the artist. Nasty C told Viral Feed that Teddy has been his “realest friend.” The two friends met in a pretty unusual way. They met during the BlackBerry Messenger days.
Teddy was the ‘Strings And Blings’ artist’s first fan when he started his music journey. At the time Nasty C was sending his music to people via Bluetooth and BlackBerry Messenger. “He was my first fan ever…I didn’t have no fans. I used to share my music on BBM. I used to send it to people via Bluetooth…I don’t know how it got to him, it was probably via BBM or something like that.”
He remembers the day when they got into a bit of an online scuffle because Teddy used to copy Nasty C’s rap names, only to find out that Teddy was just inspired by the ‘Strings And Blings’ artist. “He added me on BBM and he was such a fan. He kept copying my rap names…we even got into a little fight. I got so mad at him. I even blocked him for some time. He did another account then he added me again, and he was just telling me that he wasn’t trying to jack [steal] my style he was inspired.”
Nasty C saw how he was inspiring his friend. Teddy was the only person who took the hip hop artist’s advice seriously. “He was the only person that really listened to what I said and took my advice. If I told him to read a book, he would really go and read it. He’s been by my side since forever…”
