Ndlovu Youth Choir Doesn’t Win At The AGT Final. The announcement of the America’s Got Talent winner has been announced.
The announcement of the America’s Got Talent winner has been announced. South Africa’s favourite choir, the Ndlovu Youth Choir, has not won the competition. However, people are happy that the choir has represented South Africa overseas.
The choir got through to the last round of the United States of America hit reality show, where they sang the famous ‘Africa’ song by Toto on Tuesday. The song was loved by the spectators and judges at the show. They have also made rounds with South Africans, including the celebrities, commending the group on social media. On the last episode of the show, the group sang the song ‘Higher Love’ and ‘Can’t Hold Us’ alongside artists such as Macklemore.
The winner of the show was announced as Kodi Lee. The show, however, commended the group saying that they have shown them “how to have fun.” “You showed us how to have fun and for that we’ll always love The Ndlovu Youth Choir,” reads the America’s Got Talent Twitter post. The choir was also optimistic about the journey that they have had on the America’s Got Talent show. “The finale was the perfect ending to a journey that has changed our lives forever and shared a message of hope, unity and above all love with the world,” reads the choir’s Twitter post. They also thanke the United States of America fans for welcoming them, while also thanking South Africans for their support.
