Numerous crime intelligence driven operations were executed throughout the Northern Cape since 15 April 2022 and concluded on 18 April 2022.
The operations focused on human trafficking , drug trafficking, offences under the Firearm Control Act, the Northern Cape Liquor Act, undocumented persons, stock theft, assault, gender based violence , vehicle theft , all Road Traffic Act violations, drinking in public, drunken driving and traffic violations. In total, 295 suspects were apprehended. The arrested suspects are expected to appear in the respective Magistrates Courts.
