NORTHERN CAPE – A 49-year-old man is in Newport police custody, subsequent to an alleged argument which ended the life of a 27-year-old man.
It is alleged that a 49-year-old man fatally stabbed the victim on the upper body, bled profusely and succumbed to the injuries. The incident happened on Tuesday, 10 November 2020 at approximately 9pm, the victim ran to his residence to seek help and requested to be taken to hospital to receive medical intervention. He was certified dead on his arrival at the hospital.
The suspect is expected to appear before the Noupoort Magistrate’s Court on Thursday,12 November 2020 on count of murder
