NORTHERN CAPE – A wanted drug dealer was nabbed today, 07 October 2020 at 11:10 by members of Kimberley K9 and Frances Baard Crime intelligence.
The members pounced on two foreign drug dealers of whom one is a well-known dealer in the city at a house in Pullinger Street in Beaconsfield in Kimberley.
While searching the premises the members found TIK in the house and after searching the vehicle they discovered TIK hidden in the sun visor of the vehicle. The value of the seized drugs is estimated at R74 058-00.
The police seized a silver Datsun as it was used in the commission of a crime as well as cash believed to be the proceeds of the sale of the drugs.
Two men aged 33 and 38 years old were arrested and will soon appear in the Kimberley magistrate court on charges of dealing in drugs.
The Provincial Head of FCS, Brig Nicky Mills applauded the team for their relentless efforts in squeezing the space for drug dealers.
