Gauteng: At 16H53 Thursday afternoon Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on the N1 South on Randburg.
Reports from the scene indicate that a light motor vehicle and a mini-bus taxi were involved in a collision.
Medics assessed the scene and found that the adult male driver had sustained critical injuries and deteriorated rapidly.
Despite a full advanced life support resuscitation the patient was sadly declared deceased on the scene by a private ambulance service.
