Recently, television and radio personality Phat Joe was taken away from his own Breakfast Radio 2000 show by the name of ‘Phat Joe and The Family’. The media personality was removed from his show because he allegedly said homophobic comments during the show. He said that he ‘doesn’t understand why gays cant accept that it’s difficult for most people to accept their lifestyle.” The comments that he said about gay people didn’t sit right with the community and they let it be known.
They went on to social media to lay out their frustrations. After the incident, the media personality was removed on the show the next day. Today, Phat Joe was back on the airwaves. He apologised to the public for his comments. Most of his fans were happy that he was back on the airwaves. One fan says, “Welcome back @TheRealPhatJoe…” One tweep says, “Phat Joe is back on your @Radio200za Welcome back bro…” One tweep says, “Welcome back @TheRealPhatJoe. I’m so glad to hear your voice on the airwaves.”
One tweep says he wasn’t listening to the show since Phat Joe was suspended. The tweep says, “…during his suspension I was also not listeneing.
