A man who had a Spider-Man shirt on in Cape Town went ahead with a dream of his. Jeff Ayliffe, an owner of a media company, did a handstand on a cable car on Thursday at the Table Mountain. The man says the handstand has been one of the most hardest he has ever done.
JeffAyliffe says, “…I’m still trying to absorb this experience. Undoubtedly my most difficult handstand to date, despite a tether, a fall forward was not an option.” This is his number 332 hanstand. He has began a diary titled ‘#handstand365’, where he does a handstand each day of the year in different places. He has done handstands at a lot of areas.
He did at the walls of the Castle of Good Hope, at the top of Moses Mabhida Stadium, he also did at other places such as a tractor and a water cannon. When he did the cable car handstand it was about 6:30am and the weather according to him was good. “The job of shutting out absolutely everything, and finding a place of total calm, was so rewarding, and to a degree, a life spent dancing with these situations gave me tools to have made this one special…I’m super stoked that I finally bagged the cable car. It’s something I’ve wanted to do for a long time,” says Jeff Ayliffe.
