Police arrested 35-year-old man in possession of an unlicensed firearm.
Members were conducting Vehicle Check Point (VCP) when they stopped and checked a suspected Avanza.
During the search, a 9mm firearm and live rounds were confiscated and a case of possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition was registered
The suspect was detained and will appear before the Cofimvaba Magistrate Court on Monday 26 July 2021.
