NORTHERN CAPE – A 39-year old man was arrested by police for dealing in drugs on Wednesday, 22 July 2020 around 04:00 on the N14 road during a routine stop and search.
Members of Covid-19 B-relief were busy with crime prevention patrols when they came across a taxi approaching Upington area and they pulled it over.
Mandrax tablets amounting to R120 000 was found hidden inside the groceries. The suspect was detained in Upington cells and will soon appear in court.
