Katlehong Police continue to arrest suspects and recover looted items. Police are working around the clock to follow any information leading to the arrest and recovery of looted items.
Katlehong Police were informed about a person selling drugs (dagga and unknown drugs) at Mngadi Section in Katlehong.
Police went to the given address where a 27-year-old man was found. Police requested to search the house. Inside the house police seized more than ten brooms, pokes of dagga with an estimated street value R5000-00, drugs and clothes also seized.
Brooms and clothes seized are suspected to be stolen during looting at malls.
The suspect is arrested for unlawful possession of suspected stolen goods and for dealing in drugs.
The search continued in Ekurhuleni District and more looted items were recovered.
