LIMPOPO: The South African Police Service at Senwabarwana, in Capricorn District have launched a manhunt for an unknown suspect after an elderly woman aged 67 and her two grandchildren aged 07 and 09 were found brutally murdered in a house at Maokeng village on Tuesday 07 July 2020 at about 16:00.
The neighbours allegedly became worried when they apparently realised there has never been any movement in the house since in the morning and that the cell phone calls that were made, were also not answered. They then went to investigate and that’s when the gruesome discovery was made.
The police were called and on arrival at the scene, the three bodies were found lying in a pool of blood with gapping wounds. The mother of the two children aged 29, who is also the daughter of the 67-year-old deceased, was allegedly not in the house during this brutal attack. The deceased have been identified as Paulina Mafifi (67), Nathaniel Mafifi (9) and Selaelo Mafifi (7). The motive for the killings is not known at this stage and police investigations are continuing.
