SAPS members who are deployed at Bityi were doing patrols in the area when they received information about 21 sheep straying at Mkwezo Locality in Xhwili. After enquiring and engaging with members of the community, nobody knew about the straying sheep. The recovered sheep are branded or marked with MN whilst others with N.
They were then kept for safe keeping at a nearby homestead whilst arrangements are being made to hand them to Mthatha Stock Theft Unit to impound them.
