EASTERN CAPE – Public Order Police members deployed at Lusikisiki and Mzamba, under the command of Capt Mduduma, conducted an intelligence driven operation executing search warrants in search of illegal weapons at Monti A/A Maswazini location in Bizana on 20 August 2020 at 22:00 until 05:00.
A 67-year-old suspect from Monti location after he was found in possession of unlicenced firearm Norinco star with 12 live rounds of ammunition and one magazine.
A 36-year-old was arrested after being found with an illegal Taurus revolver with 5 live rounds of ammunition.
