POSTMASBURG – The Station Commander of Postmasburg, Lieutenant Colonel Andries Witbooi had a successful day in the fight against crime today, 08 Dec 2020 in the greater Postmasburg.
The Team led by the District Vispol Coordinator Colonel Petrus Christian Coetzee successfully arrested three men for dealing in Dagga and Drugs.
The first suspect, a 44-year-old man was arrested in Newtown after the team operationalised information and found him with 306 grams of dagga, mandrax and an amount of R4282 cash. The estimated street value of Dagga and Drugs is R3500.
A second suspect, a 28-year-old male was found with 604 grams of dagga valued at R4 028.
Lastly, a third suspect, a 30-year-old male was found in possession of 21 stolen cellphones value at R50 000. The suspect was also arrested for dealing in dagga, 1,590 kg with street value of R11 150.
The three suspects are expected to appear before Postmasburg court soon.
Police investigation continues.
