EASTERN CAPE – Anti-Gang Unit members in Port Elizabeth arrested a 47-year-old gang member and confiscated drugs with a total estimated street value of R700 000-00 today.
It is alleged that at about 12:00, a search warrant was executed at a house in Didloft Street in Bloemendal. On searching the house, a large quantity of drugs were found hidden in the garage. Police seized 1545 mandrax tablets, mandrax powder weighing 290.5 grams, 7 packets of cocaine weighing 715.5grams and tik weighing 714grams.
