Provincial Task Team Arrest Seven Suspects For Various Crimes.

WESTERN CAPE – The Western Cape Provincial Integrated Team remains committed to arresting perpetrators of crime. On Thursday evening, 27 August 2020, the members acted on information and went to an address in Goodwood where a search was conducted and an unlicensed firearm with ammunition was found. A 37-year-old woman was arrested.
In an unrelated matter, the police officials followed up on information in Nyanga on Thursday and arrested two suspects aged 26 and 32 for possession of drugs and presumed stolen property. Mandrax tables worth a substantial amount and a laptop were found.
Meanwhile, the team conducted a tracing operation on Thursday evening and arrested four wanted suspects aged between 20 and 35 on a Philippi-East hijacking case.
The arrested suspects will appear in court once charged on Monday, 31 August 2020.
