On Wednesday, most parents were happy to be taking their bundles of joy to school. However, for Mzansi’s most loved painter Lebani Sirenje, commonly known as Rasta, it wasn’t a good day. According to TshisaLive, the painter is asking for people to help so that his children could get to go to school in the year of 2020.
The star stated that one of his daughters that was to begin with her first grade was not given a school placement at this point in time. He says that he has been having a hard time with money at the moment, he cannot even pay money for his rent. “I applied last year for my seven-year-old daughter to get into a school, but we were told to go to the department of education for that. The other thing was that we had to buy stationery. So I was holding for those things, because we were not sure that maybe I was going to take her home to attend school there. I can’t even pay rent, but that’s not the main focus. What I need is help to get school needs for my kids,” says Rasta.
He says that he hasn’t paid the school fees for his daughters’ school fees yet because of money issues. He was also on the Metro FM radio station to ask for help. He stated that he already got people that are willing to help him. He says that someone is willing to help him with uniform, another person is willing to assist with buying his grade 10 daughter school stationery.
