Hip hop artist ReasonHD slammed a company for calling a man’s friend stupid. The man tagged the company and other social media influencers, asking them to help him find a person who allegedly scammed his friend. The man said that his friend sold his car to the man but his friend realised a day later that the money for the car wasn’t transferred in his account. The man posted his tweet as a comment to the infamous “O jewa Ke eng” post.
“Guys please help locate this guy on the video wearing a spirit t-shirt with black long sleeve and [sneakers], he is a scammer. A friend sold his car car to him only to realise a day later [there] was never money transferred but scammed…” The company replied to the man saying that the friend was stupid in not checking if the amount is in his account. The company went on to say that the man could be anyone within the 58 million people in South Africa.
“No. If your friend is stupid enough to let the car go without checking the amount in his account, that’s his stupidity. He will learn. Besides, that could literally be ANYONE out of the 58 million population,” says the company. The tweet frustrated ReasonHD, which ended up in him replying to the company. The ‘O Suna Mang’ hit maker told the company that people can make POPs and notifications. He went on to say that some of the company’s statement is “vile.” ReasonHD says, “What an irresponsible response. Plenty people know how to make legit POPs and notification appear without transactions. For you to have this attitude is really f***ed up. You could’ve just said “unfortunately we can’t recognize the suspect”. The rest is vile. Do better.”
He went on to say that people who know the man have a possibilityof recognising him on the camera. “That 58 million population comment is just as stupid. Anybody on a camera can be one of the 58 million people in the country. That’s why we use cameras to try and recognise better. People who know him can see. What a P**s attitude to have for someone asking for help.”
