Miles mistrusts everyone in his life and he decides to get rid of all of them. News of Cuba and Niki’s altercation spreads. Gail launches a character attack on Bongani in order to get back at S’bu.

Bongani’s sudden fame tempts Zondi into another deal. Mamokete is mortified when she lets slip of Cuba’s secret. Miles says goodbye to Redemption.

Episode 1933
After witnessing a public spat by Lerato and Gail, David puts Lerato back in line. David tempts Miles by offering to help him get Redemption back. Mamokete is worried about how Rose and Sis Bee have turned against Cuba.

Episode 1934
Mamokete wants to heal the rift between the church ladies and asks Pastor Isaac to mediate. Zondi won’t budge on the deal. S’bu continues to hustle for Bongani.

Episode 1935
S’bu is fretting about whether Bongani will turn up for his gig. Emotions are running high in the community. David is getting totally obsessed with tasting Hamish’s incredibly exclusive whisky.

Episode 1936
David is hell-bent on acquiring the rare bottle of whisky in Hamish’s possession – by any means necessary. Lerato tries to find out what place Gail has in David’s life, but David puts her in her place. Puleng takes the heat for her mother’s misdemeanour.

Episode 1937
Cuba is worried about how her troubles are affecting Puleng and Suffocate is worried about how the trouble will affect his business. Jimmy betrays Lerato to David, and a concerned David acknowledges he may have to kill her.

Lerato makes her move on Hamish. Puleng starts to feel the impact on her business. Gail launches an unlikely plan to get Zondi to reconsider doing business with S’bu and Bongani.

Episode 1939
Gail’s partying causes S’bu to miss an important meeting. Gumede’s campaign to boycott Puleng is working. David and Lerato set the honey trap for Hamish.

Episode 1940
Lerato tells David that she overheard that Hamish was trying to have his wife killed. This gives David an idea. Everyone’s coming to terms with Puleng no longer being at the Kilowatt shisa nyama.

Episode 1941
David tries to convince Hamish that he’ll kill his wife in exchange for the whisky. Fats is put under pressure by Rose and Sis Bee to get rid of Puleng. Gail and Lerato circle around each other in a strange dance, trying to suss each other out.

Episode 1942
Jimmy tracks down Hamish’s wife and David does not know that the woman whose murder he is setting up is someone very close and dear to him. Puleng refuses to leave town despite the hatred she and her mother are receiving from the community.

Episode 1943
After losing her second job as a result of the witchcraft accusations, Puleng is now determined to leave town. Zolani is pleased with the turnaround at Redemption. David sets the hit in motion.

Episode 1944
David has to stop Jimmy from carrying out the hit after discovering that he knows the target. Puleng and Cuba prepare to leave town and start their lives afresh, but something strange happens. Zolani is not convinced that Sifiso is earning his salary at Redemption.

Episode 1945
Lerato stumbles upon David in possession of what she believes is a dead body. Dr Ongers attacks David with a knife. Gumede and Rose incite the community following Zama’s disappearance. Victoria invites Lu to spend Christmas day with the Vilakazis.

David battles to get Dr Ongers to understand that it is her husband who is trying to have her killed. Mamokete and Kop take in a fleeing and desperate Cuba and Puleng. David records Hamish saying he wants his wife dead.

David tasks Jimmy with finding a body to pose as proof of death to Hamish. Bash reveals where Cuba and Puleng are hiding. Lucilla tries to reach out to S’bu.

Episode 1948
Cuba gets sick and needs medication. Gail is disappointed by David and by S’bu as both men seem to have lost the Christmas spirit and their sense of family obligations. David is becoming increasingly interested and attentive to Dr Ongers.

It’s Christmas Day and Puleng and Cuba are having a miserable time in the backroom. David and Dr Ongers are getting closer. Miles is missing S’bu.

Episode 1950
David finally admits to Dr Ongers that she may be the one to stand beside him. Lerato fears that she’s been replaced in David’s affections. Rose tips off Gumede about Cuba and Puleng hiding out with the Khuses. Gumede takes a horrifying step.

Ongers considers and finally accepts David’s proposal that they become equal partners. David instructs Jimmy to take care of Lerato. Sifiso tells Prudence that he is thinking of leaving Redemption Records.

Episode 1952
Suffo gathers together all the people he can and heads for the Khuses. Gumede threatens to burn down the Khuse house if they don’t hand Cuba over. Bulelwa arrives and tells Gumede that Cuba had nothing to do with Zama disappearing. Gumede disagrees, says this is what witches do. The crowd is re-ignited.

Lerato tells Jimmy that their future depends on them killing Dr Ongers. When Rose tries to excuse her behaviour to Mamokete, Mamokete tells her exactly what she thinks of her.
