Who knew that selling bathwater could be a business, a profitable one at that point. Well, one South African Instagram model who, living in the United Kingdom, posts NSFW (Not Safe For Work) pics and videos shows that it’s possible to make that moola from dirty bath water. The lady normally posts images and videos in NSFW cosplay outfits of her favourite Japanese Anime characters. The cosplay model sold her water for R420 per container.
The model by the name of Belle Delphine promoted the water, named Gamer Girl Bath Water, on her website. The woman’s dirty bath water sold out within three days. The cosplay model decided to make another pack of the dirty bath water, the water also sold out within a few days. Social media users were divided on what they thought about buying the water.
The water had a disclaimer saying that the water was not meant for drinking. The disclaimer stated that the water is meant for affectionate reasons. However, some of the people who bought the water have declared to have used the water for drinking, vaping and cooking. Later on, people claim to have allegedly received herpes from the dirty bath water, the cosplay denied the claims.
“Nobody has been hospitalised from my bath water or have gotten sick. All of those memes were posted before I even shipped any out. Regarding the whole ‘herpes’ thing, yes I used to get blisters when there’s change in weather, I’ve gotten them occasionally since I was a child, I haven’t had one in a year or two and NO you cannot get it!…it’s not an STD…,” says Belle Delphine on her Instagram.
