This morning I was attacked during road rage As I was turning right, I moved closer to his lane, he deliberately bumped me, got off the car and came to bang on my window and windscreen. He was shouting “What are you doing you stupid Kaffir, get out of your fucken car”. I decided to take a video cause he was not stopping (banging and shaking my car) as he saw me taking a video he walked away, as seen on video.
He came back seen on photo 2 to request my drivers license, which I refused, I feared for my safety. I told him I will get out of the vehicle when police arrive.
Metro police arrived, they said because no one was hurt they will issue us AR No. for insurance purposes and no further actions will be taken. I requested the metro police to address the issue relating to the attack , they said I should take it up with the police.
I drove to the Wierdaburg police station to report, to my surprise they said because I am not hurt and there were no witnesses nothing can be done. I told them about the video and the officer indicated that they can’t hear what he is saying, and they are not willing to investigate it.
The questions I pose to our protection system are:
1. How many humans should die for police officers to take us seriously?
2. Why should I have physical wounds in order for police service to investigate an attempted assault?
3 How many times should blacks be called Kaffirs, in order for it to stop?
