Skolopad Gets Cameo Roles On The Queen And Isidingo. She says that she has linked with two talent agencies so that she can find acting roles.
Skolopad, real name Nonhlanhla Qwabe, will soon be on viewers’ screens on the SABC 3 show ‘Isidingo’. According to TshisaLive, the performer received the role after going to auditions for the character that she’ll be playing. She will be playing as the neighbour of Palesa on one episode. The episode will be on the silver screens in a few weeks. She says that she has linked with two talent agencies so that she can find acting roles.
“This my journey to be honest it wasn’t easy but I’ve tried and thank you,” says Skolopad on her Instagram account, accompanied by pictures of some of her scenes. The performer is happy that she got the roles that she got. She also says that she has a role on Mzansi Magic’s ‘The Queen’. In one of her posts of a picture of Connie Ferguson as Harriet, she said it was a dream come true to be in the same room with the actress. “Being with her in the same room it was a dream come true and next week again [we] ON. THANX #THEQUEEN FOR GIVING ME THE CHANCE just to pass…it’s big,” says the perfomer.
Skolopad says unlike performing as a brand, with acting there’s perfection because it’s not impromptu. “When I perform as a brand, people will not tell me during a performance that what I was doing was not the right thing. With acting, directors stop you immediately and you have to act agin. There is more perfection in acting than when I perform on my own,” says the performer. Skolopad became popular in 2017, when she got to the Metro FM Awards with a provocative yellow dress.
