Tuesday was a day for a twar between two social media influencers because of earnings. Karabo Mokgokgo and Phil Mphela had it in because the latter allegedly stated that the money that Karabo claims to have is supposedly not true. However, Karabo Mokgokgo heard about what Phil Mphela said from someone because she blocked the TMI star on Twitter.
“I hear Phil Mphela has an opinion on my bank balance and invoices. I REPEAT…Phil Mphela is bitter and jealous. He should ask brands how much they pay me per tweet, he’s got access, even his employer, please tag him. I’m happy to provide all the proof he needs,” says Karabo Mokgokgo. The positivity social media influencer went on to speak to the fellow influencer directly. She says, “Hi Sir, [Phil Mphela] I hear you have an opinion about how much I earn. Do you need me to send my rate card? Invoices? Or you will ask and tell the masses the truth this time? I don’t like fighting with people on [here] but d*mn, I underestimate my presence in your life.”
The TMI co-host stated that someone asked him about the money on social media and he replied. “Oh f**k off wena! Someone asked me about social media and making millions in SA. You have a serious problem. Don’t know if it’s a self esteem thing or you are deprived of validation in your real life. Why would I randomly have an opinion about your lies…,” says Phila Mphela. He then wrote another response. “…I don’t have time for your nonsense. Feed it to your gullible followers. Leave me out of your nonsense. Get a hobby or real friends. This social media attention seeking thing is not a good look. Thought you blocked me. Bye,” says Phil Mphela. Karabo ended up saying that the TMI co-host is just trying to get attention so that he can promote his supposed struggling show.
