People on social media have been freaked out by a weird story of a cat sounding man that drives a taxi going from Fourways to Bree. A Twitter user says that she used the taxi, as did her friend. She also went on to say that they always forget to take note of the registration plate, so that they don’t grab the taxi.
The Twitter user says the first time she went on to the alleged taxi she asked a woman that was sitting next to her what was happening “and she whispered “isalamuzi”…” The Twitter user went on to say that the friend couldn’t feel his heartbeat when he went to the supposed taxi. “…I know I’m not crazy [because] the first time I took this taxi I was with my friend, next thing he tells me cant feel his heartbeat…this was in October,” says the Twitter user.
“I got off in Braam and that’s not even where I was going, I wanna go report this at the Association but I feel like they’ll just laugh at me, that’s why I need more people, should’ve taken that lady’s numbers…I’m also concerned by how calm that lady was when she said “Isalamuzi” as if she’s taken the taxi before.” While some tweeps were frightened by the story, some found some humour in it. One tweep says, “Me looking at taxi drivers this morning….why you overtake like you got nine lives?” One tweep says, “Cats were once considered royalty in ancient Egypt. Now they’re driving taxis to make ends meet. Oh how the mighty have fallen, lesson learnt…”
