Heartbreaks are really hard for some people. That’s why people tend to remove anything that would remind the people that broke their hearts, such as removing pictures of the person from Instagram if it was an intimate relationship. However, one tweep didn’t want to remove the memories that she has with her exes, so she decided to edit captions on her posts of her ex boyfriends. The posts made rounds on the internet.
The Singapore social media user, Rosie, went on to Instagram to adjust some of the captions that she wrote along posts of her and her exes. The woman says that she wanted to be clear as to what happened between her and the ex-boyfriends. The woman went on to Twitter to state the reason why she chose to edit the pictures she had with the exes. “decided to unarchive all the pictures I had with s***ty guys because I look cute but update the captions to be more accurate…”
In the first image edited she said that the ex-boyfriend broke up with her the day after the day of love. “not a fan of valentine’s day but a huge fan of my valentine…edit: he broke up with me the next day!” In the second image edited she says that she could have done better than the ex. “like if you think I can do better…edit: he broke up with me through facebook messenger so yes, I can do better.” In the third image she notes that she had to travel for 7 hours. “took a 7 hour bus to boston to take this picture…edit: was not worth the trip,” says Rosie. The lady gave a lot of women on social media confidence.
